Begin with a quick questionnaire covering who is travelling, preferred dates, priorities and the kind of Italy you would like to experience.
Step 02Up to 60 minutes
During a complimentary consultation, we explore your preferences, pace, practical requirements and preferred travel investment, while sharing initial ideas to inspire the journey’s direction.
Step 03Typically within 48–72 hours
Altora shares a journey concept, engagement terms and an indicative investment range by email, outlining the proposed destinations, experiences and logistics. Recommendations are described by character at this stage, with one refinement incorporating your feedback before confirmation.
Step 04From confirmation through travel
Following written confirmation and the initial payment, Altora shares the complete journey plan and full details of each recommendation, then coordinates every confirmed arrangement throughout the travel dates.
To preserve a consistently personal level of support, Altora accepts a limited number of journeys during peak travel periods. 24/7 journey assistance is available on request as an additional service throughout the confirmed travel dates.

Independent advice, transparent fees: Altora charges an advisory fee for journey design and coordination, with no mark-ups or handling fees applied to hotels, transfers, dining or experiences. Recommendations remain independent, and journeys are never sold as packages.
Present when plans change: For journeys including 24/7 support, Altora remains actively involved throughout the confirmed travel dates, coordinating last-minute changes and advising on arrangements whenever possible.
Discretion, without compromise: Your identity, preferences and every detail of your journey are held in strict confidence, from the first conversation through every stage of coordination.

The experiences Giovanni recommended were crazy! No. Every Altora journey begins with the client’s brief and is composed from scratch around the clients, purpose, pace and priorities. The Client Journeys presented on this website are completed commissions intended to show the breadth of our work, not itineraries to be replicated.
After completing the short journey request, we arrange a complimentary private consultation. After the consultation, Altora then shares an initial journey concept, an indicative advisory-fee range and the engagement terms by email, normally within 48–72 hours. Recommendations are described by character at this stage, with one refinement included before you decide whether to confirm.
Altora works exclusively on a transparent advisory-fee basis. We do not sell packages, collect supplier payments or add mark-ups and handling charges to hotels, transfers, dining or experiences. Our advisory fee and payment schedule are presented before you decide whether to confirm the engagement.
Altora advises on the selection and coordinates the agreed arrangements, but every reservation and payment is completed directly between the client and the provider. We do not sell or issue any type of service. We are advisors.
As early as possible, particularly for Eid, summer, Fashion Week, the ski season and major sporting or cultural events. The appropriate lead time depends on the journey’s complexity and provider availability. Last-minute requests are considered individually but cannot always be accommodated.
Yes, wherever circumstances and availability allow. Altora does not charge an additional advisory fee for post-confirmation changes. Any no-show penalties, cancellation or rebooking charges, or price differences are determined by the relevant provider and remain payable directly by the client. Altora neither collects nor assumes liability for these third-party charges.
24/7 Journey Support is an optional premium service for confirmed journeys requiring continuous coordination. It applies during the agreed travel dates and covers time-sensitive assistance, unexpected needs and last-minute changes wherever possible. Availability is limited and must be confirmed in advance, particularly during Eid and other peak periods.
Yes. Family dynamics, individual pace, dining requirements, privacy and other personal considerations are discussed from the outset. Close-protection services can also be coordinated with at least 24 hours’ notice, with the relevant provider costs paid directly by the client.
Altora works directly in English and Italian. Arabic and other external language support may be arranged as an additional service, subject to availability and prior confirmation.
You may withdraw at any point through Step 3, including after reviewing the initial journey concept, without paying an Altora advisory fee. Once you confirm the engagement in writing and Step 4 begins, Altora starts delivering the commissioned advisory service and the full advisory fee becomes non-refundable, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Any supplier penalties or external costs remain governed by the relevant provider’s terms.
Yes. Altora designs tailored programmes for corporate hosts, incentive groups, leadership retreats and VIP guests. Each engagement is defined around its purpose, group size, timing, logistical requirements and expected level of support. Every corporate travel engagement is personally overseen by Altora’s CEO.
Altora does not provide visa services, invitation letters, visa documentation or travel insurance. Travellers remain responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, the necessary entry permissions and appropriate insurance coverage before travelling.
